Requirements
- 10+ years of data architecture and engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience leading and growing high-performing engineering teams in an Agile environment.
- Strong proficiency in backend technologies such as Java or Python.
- Experience with AWS data services and cloud-based data storage solutions.
- Working proficiency in Power BI and DAX modeling.
- Experience building and scaling large backend data platforms and pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Demonstrated ability to define data architecture and schemas.
- Experience with modern DevOps/Agile practices (CI/CD, Git, JIRA).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Healthcare data experience (claims, clinical/EHR, payer/provider) strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define the data architecture and schemas underpinning the platform.
- Design, build, and maintain ingestion pipelines and integrations.
- Develop or troubleshoot Power BI reports and data models.
- Hire, manage, and mentor a data operations team of engineers.
- Ensure platform security and scalability in line with company policy.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
- Oversee automated testing, code reviews, and deployment tasks.
