Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10 years of cloud software engineering experience.
- 4+ years leadership of cloud software development and related teams.
- Strong experience designing and building cloud-native applications.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Proficiency in React, Node.js, Java, and Python.
- Experience with microservices architecture and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Experience leading Agile/Scrum software development teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the definition and execute the organization’s cloud software engineering roadmap.
- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies.
- Build and maintain a high-performance engineering culture focused on collaboration and innovation.
- Oversee the architecture, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable cloud applications.
- Lead modernization efforts for legacy systems migrating to cloud environments.
- Ensure adherence to cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and vendor relationships.
- Mentor organizational teams and conduct performance evaluations.
