Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, public policy, public administration, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
  • At least 4 years of experience supporting Government, DoD, Department of the Navy, Marine Corps, federal infrastructure, real estate/real property, MILCON, or capital investment programs.
  • Experience with project planning, scheduling, risk tracking, status reporting, and program coordination.
  • Familiarity with federal facilities or project management systems such as FIWEB, PBIS, eProjects, USMCMax, SMSBuilder, DAI, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience preparing project plans, agendas, meeting minutes, status reports, budget materials, and other program documentation.
  • Strong understanding of stakeholder coordination, with the ability to work effectively with government agencies, technical teams, contractors, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, timelines, and routine status updates to support government oversight of assigned special projects.
  • Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and potential impacts, and prepare monthly risk reports with practical mitigation recommendations.
  • Provide day-to-day project management and program coordination support for special initiatives, including infrastructure resilience, fire suppression, AFFF replacement, and related federal facilities programs.
  • Coordinate communication among government directorates, installations, regions, federal agencies, contractors, and architect/engineering firms.
  • Organize recurring meetings and working sessions, including agendas, logistics, meeting minutes, action items, and post-meeting materials.
  • Prepare planning, scheduling, design, modification, and related documentation for MILCON and FSRM projects.
  • Support the preparation of draft budget, funding, and other program documentation for government review and approval.
  • Enter, maintain, and validate project information across government and facilities management systems, including FIWEB, eProjects, PBIS, USMCMax, SMSBuilder, DAI, and iNFADS.
  • Track project activities and deliverables across multiple initiatives, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate reporting.
  • Support project closeout activities, including preparation of lessons learned, best-practice summaries, and other required documentation.
