Requirements
- 5+ years of total industry experience at an annuity carrier, broker-dealer, bank, or BGA.
- Experience in product development, sales, marketing, account management, due diligence, market research, IT, or operations.
- Technical knowledge of annuity product types and features.
- Familiarity with the end-to-end process for selling and servicing annuities.
- Experience using web-based client and advisor-facing policy management or advising tools.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with analysis methods in a business or academic environment.
- Familiarity with AI tools and their applications.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills with an ability to influence.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an internal consultant assisting with understanding of the competitive landscape for annuities.
- Develop and execute ongoing mixed method research programs focusing on competitor product specifications, rates, service capabilities, sales strategies, and technology partnerships.
- Support development of new annuity competitive intelligence programs from planning and research to dissemination of insights.
- Analyze competitor products and capabilities through quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
- Create and update tactical-level product battlecards and side-by-side comparisons for sales and training.
- Develop reports, presentations, and data dashboards to communicate findings and influence stakeholders.
- Conduct Win-Loss evaluations and maintain findings.
- Execute ad-hoc research requests regarding competitor information.
