Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure/cloud engineering roles.
- Solid, production-level experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in Active Directory (user management, GPOs) and Entra ID (hybrid identity, Entra Connect).
- Proficiency in scripting/automation using PowerShell and/or Python.
- Solid hands-on experience managing virtualization environments (Nutanix, VMWare, Citrix, Hyper-V).
- Strong focus in Virtual Desktop infrastructure (VMWare Horizon, Azure AVD, Citrix).
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (MDM), app deployment, patch management, and endpoint policies.
- Experience working with IT ticketing systems (e.g. Freshservice, ServiceNow).
- Comfortable working async in a distributed, remote-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Support and contribute to infrastructure and cloud projects across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Assist with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) projects including setup, troubleshooting, and operations.
- Improve device management processes using Microsoft Intune for app deployment, patching, and policies.
- Provide infrastructure cost visibility and identify optimization opportunities.
- Produce clear, up-to-date documentation for infrastructure systems and processes.
- Deliver training to the IT support team to reduce escalations.
- Implement AI-driven tools and automation within infrastructure operations.
- Support deployment and monitoring of AI-powered applications.
- Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Bicep or Terraform.
- Collaborate with the Security team on security policies and controls.
