Requirements
- Proven experience as a sys admin or network engineer with a solid understanding of both.
- Proficiency in basic programming in a language of choice.
- Experience with a software automation tool such as Ansible.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
- Constructive, open-minded, and self-motivated attitude.
- Experience managing 3rd parties and negotiating with vendors.
- Knowledge of Authentication Protocols (SAML, OAuth2, AD, Kerberos) preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft/Azure Active Directory preferred.
- Knowledge of Database HA (Clustering/replication) such as Postgres preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build out the automated provisioning of servers and networks in both physical and cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
- Evolve the Continuous Delivery pipeline for provisioning servers and switches.
- Deploy software across environments.
- Interact with hardware vendors, telecom providers, and financial institutions.
- Manage 3rd parties via email and phone, negotiate with vendors, and purchase hardware.
