Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 5–10 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one of: Java, C#, F# (.NET), C++, Python, or TypeScript (React/Angular/Node.js).
- Experience owning the full development cycle: requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and delivery.
- Experience debugging production software and tracing root causes across layers.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud-native development or data platform technologies preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure automation preferred.
- Background in enterprise software or scientific computing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, design solutions, write code, test, and ship features end to end.
- Break complex specifications into concrete tasks with realistic schedules.
- Identify and fix weaknesses in the codebase, test coverage, and development process.
- Investigate and resolve production defects by tracing root causes across components.
- Apply secure coding practices and identify vulnerabilities during code reviews.
- Review peer code with high rigor and mentor junior engineers.
- Evaluate and integrate open-source tools to improve system performance.
