Job Details

Requirements

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Previous professional experience conducting full ADHD diagnostic assessments.
  • Experience producing complete, professional ADHD diagnostic reports.
  • Confident assessing and diagnosing ADHD autonomously within scope of practice.
  • Strong knowledge of ADHD and differential diagnosis.
  • Confident managing risk and safeguarding concerns.
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently.
  • V300 Independent Prescribing qualification (highly desirable).
  • Experience with DIVA-5 or similar structured assessment tools (highly desirable).

Responsibilities

  • Review pre-assessment information and questionnaires.
  • Conduct comprehensive ADHD diagnostic assessments.
  • Take developmental, psychiatric, and relevant medical histories.
  • Assess functional impairment and consider differential diagnoses.
  • Complete risk and safeguarding assessments.
  • Provide diagnostic feedback to clients.
  • Complete and sign full ADHD diagnostic reports.
  • Maintain clear and accurate clinical records.
