Requirements
- 4+ years leading engineers in a software development environment and working across multiple distributed teams.
- Software engineering background that empowers you to drive technical decisions.
- Experience leading multiple concurrent projects.
- Previous experience working on frontend platform initiatives such as design systems and architectural improvements.
- Track record of delivering front-end experiences to user-facing products.
- Hands-on experience with web technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS).
- Proven track record successfully leading and shipping user-facing experiences on time, using data to inform timelines.
- Strong communication and ability to develop positive relationships.
- Ability to hire, mentor, empower, develop, and delegate to geographically distributed team members.
Responsibilities
- Drive initiatives to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and monitored software.
- Navigate trade-offs and drive alignment across a portfolio of browser user experiences.
- Communicate goals, scope, and risks while owning the delivery of initiatives on clear timelines.
- Identify, build, and iterate on engineering processes to support high-performing teams.
- Engage in regular 1-1 meetings to provide feedback and support professional development.
- Create an inclusive environment that engages and challenges team members.
- Work collaboratively with Product, UX, QA, Operations, and Data Science teams.
