Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional social media experience, including 2+ years developing executive thought leadership content, ideally within a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Strong knowledge of LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Proficiency with social media management platforms such as Sprout Social or Buffer.
  • Experience using design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience with video editing tools such as OpusClip, After Effects, or similar applications.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude for content ideation and workflow efficiency.
  • Strong analytical capabilities using tools like Google Analytics, Sprout Social, or LinkedIn Insights.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive organic social media strategy aligned with marketing, brand, audience, and business objectives.
  • Manage and optimize social media presence across platforms including LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Create high-quality social content across copy, graphics, photography, and video.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of short-form video content, including filming and editing.
  • Own the executive social media strategy, working directly with senior leaders to develop thought leadership content.
  • Monitor social channels and engage with the broader nonprofit community.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social performance metrics to optimize content strategies.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional contributors to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
