Requirements
- 6+ years of data engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud data platform (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, AWS Redshift, or Google BigQuery).
- Strong proficiency in writing and tuning production SQL for optimization and debugging.
- Experience using Python, Scala, or Java for data workflow automation.
- Demonstrated ability to apply ETL/ELT principles, data warehousing, and data modeling.
- Experience delivering projects on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Skilled in collaborative software development using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A track record of mentoring teammates and providing constructive feedback.
Responsibilities
- Design and build data pipelines and schemas that grow with data volume and complexity.
- Lead data architecture and modeling discussions, documenting tradeoffs and decisions.
- Contribute to client projects by making immediate technical contributions and building trust.
- Work pragmatically to deliver high-quality, maintainable software within project deadlines.
- Mentor team members and contribute to the company culture through workshops and hiring support.
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding data strategies.
- Maintain relationships with client technical leaders and mitigate project blockers.
