Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Proficiency in designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
- Experience defining a technical plan for the delivery of a significant feature or system component.
- Proficiency in making significant changes in a large codebase using safe tools and practices.
- Proven ability to use AI tools to assist in delivering high-quality products.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team, leading engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics by participating in ideation and articulating technical constraints.
- Proactively identify and solve project, process, technology, or business issues.
- Support operations and availability by creating and monitoring metrics and participating in on-call efforts.
- Foster a culture of quality by setting or improving code review and design standards.
- Help develop talent on the team by providing feedback and guidance.
