Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Current CA RN license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA-approved with in-person skills check).
- Three years of nursing experience (telephone assessment and triage experience preferred).
- Valid CA driver’s license or out-of-state license for active military/spouses.
- Proof of auto insurance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred.
Responsibilities
- Answer patient calls regarding diverse healthcare topics during clinic hours.
- Assess patient condition understanding and identify potential care gaps.
- Evaluate, assess, and triage immediate health concerns, determining if emergency care is required.
- Provide patient advice and education on handling their specific health situations.
- Support Call Center staff with training and clinical guidance.
- Educate patients regarding lab tests, results, and medication expectations.
- Maintain professional working relationships across the organization.
