Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably within a SaaS or product-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system design, relational databases, and API development.
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as React, PHP, or Python.
- Experience using a major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with agile development, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and observability platforms such as Datadog.
- Demonstrated ability to independently deliver complex features while balancing technical quality and timelines.
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Experience supporting and mentoring other engineers.
- Comfortable working independently and asynchronously.
- Experience with, or genuine interest in, using AI technologies in software development.
Responsibilities
- Independently scope, plan, implement, and deliver well-defined features and components within the Connected Supplier domain.
- Participate in system design discussions, considering performance, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to break initiatives into clear milestones, modules, and deliverables.
- Develop clean, maintainable, well-tested code while following strong engineering practices.
- Take responsibility for domain-level projects and co-own larger cross-functional initiatives.
- Identify architectural and operational risks early and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Provide constructive feedback, participate in code reviews, and support the professional growth of fellow engineers.
