Requirements
- 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Proficiency in Python or Kotlin.
- Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems.
- Familiarity with building blocks of distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS, MySQL, and Spark.
- Ability to write clear, well-tested, and extensible code.
- Comfortable navigating large codebases and performing code reviews.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive approach to seeking feedback and ownership of professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable systems and data pipelines to power consumer credit reporting.
- Partner with Product, Compliance, Servicing, and Credit teams to design robust reporting systems.
- Break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver in multiple phases.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on ideation and technical constraints.
- Support operations and availability of team artifacts by creating and monitoring metrics.
- Escalate issues and support keep the lights on and on-call efforts.
- Participate in growth and development activities including the interview process.
