  • 2+ years of related work experience in reimbursement.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of reimbursement compliance requirements.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and respond to payer requirements.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and summarize clinical and cost literature.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Medical device industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient information and insurance coverage verification in internal databases.
  • Call insurance providers to obtain status updates on prior authorization requests.
  • Collaborate with patients and medical sites to facilitate authorization success.
  • Monitor progress of authorization requests and appeals through to External Medical Review (EMR).
  • Train sites on program requirements and provide coding guidance.
  • Implement process improvements to reduce authorization turnaround time.
  • Document product and therapy-related field reports in compliance with quality standards.
