Requirements

  • Minimum of three years experience working with Public Works Labor Compliance Programs and/or Project Labor Agreements.
  • Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree from a recognized college or university.
  • Experience with prevailing wage enforcement, analysis, and auditing.
  • Knowledge of construction industry employment practices and state labor regulations.
  • Experience implementing procedures and coordinating with internal and external departments.
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor certified payroll for both internal self-perform projects and external subcontractors.
  • Review public and private contracts for labor requirements and coordinate with project teams to ensure monitoring, reporting, and submission compliance.
  • Perform periodic audits on projects to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Develop risk assessments on the Compliance Programs.
  • Conduct labor compliance training sessions for stakeholders, employees, and contractors.
  • Verify payroll records, benefit statements, and apprenticeship paperwork for regulatory compliance.
  • Utilize LCP Tracker and other software to review and approve documentation.
