Requirements
- 5+ years in Insurance/Financial Industry experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting Core Policy Admin systems especially Life Asia/Life400
- 5+ years of experience in COBOL/400 programming on LifeAsia/Life400 application
- Knowledge of surrounding applications like underwriting engine, frontend/mobile applications, and workflow
- Good experience in omnichannel integration
- Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning, and deployment methodologies
- Experience in application integration middleware (e.g., MuleSoft) is an advantage
- Strong understanding of Agile / Iterative delivery methodology
- Strong communication, conceptual, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional and collaborative team environment
Responsibilities
- Oversight of Core Application deliverables for Product launches, Post launch features, customer acquisition, Servicing and Middleware Integration
- Serve as an SME for core application-related initiatives
- Develop and deliver engineering deliverables for products, sales, and servicing solutions including Life Asia/Life400, CCM, Underwriting Engines, and Workflow
- Collaborate with Business Product Owners and Tech-Delivery Leads to define technical designs for product launches and enhancements
- Guide junior IT team members and drive technical solutions to meet business demands
- Contribute to Policy Admin System architecture and design by providing best practice guidance and patterns
- Lead the technical delivery of assigned tasks and projects
