Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in business or data analysis, including requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Experience developing dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik, or similar.
- Experience creating prototypes or wireframes to validate analytical requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Common Access Card (CAC).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead structured requirements-gathering sessions to define data, reporting, and analytical needs.
- Translate ambiguous business questions into technical specifications and actionable solutions.
- Design and implement database structures, schemas, tables, and views.
- Optimize database performance and enforce data quality and governance practices.
- Perform exploratory data analysis using SQL and Python or R.
- Develop and maintain production-grade dashboards using Power BI or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to integrate analytical solutions.
- Present findings and data-driven narratives to executive leadership.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices.
