Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in MLOps, ML Infrastructure, or ML Engineering.
- Experience being on-call for live ML services and resolving production incidents.
- Deep understanding of quantization and parallelism trade-offs under latency and cost constraints.
- Advanced proficiency in Python.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE).
- Proficiency with Helm and IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with hyperscaler ML services (AWS SageMaker, EC2 GPU, Lambda).
- Familiarity with MLflow, Kubeflow, PyTorch, DeepSpeed, FSDP, or Hugging Face Accelerate.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, scale, and optimize self-hosted open-weight models using engines like vLLM, Triton Inference Server, or TGI.
- Operate and enhance intelligent routing layers spanning self-hosted models and external APIs with token accounting and cost controls.
- Build and maintain automated pipelines for fine-tuning, evaluation, and CI/CD using MLflow, SageMaker Pipelines, or Kubeflow.
- Manage distributed training workloads using DeepSpeed, FSDP, or Accelerate.
- Own production reliability, monitoring, and incident response, including participating in on-call rotations.
- Deliver infrastructure-as-code and automated evaluation harnesses for internal engineering teams.
