Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 2–4+ years of experience leading teams as an Engineering Manager, Team Lead, or equivalent.
- Experience delivering production software in a SaaS, web platform, or product-led environment.
- Strong full-stack engineering background in the JavaScript / TypeScript ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and React / Next.js.
- Experience designing and consuming APIs.
- Experience running production workloads on a major cloud platform (AWS preferred).
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery workflows.
- Proven track record of implementing or maturing Scrum/Agile practices.
- Strong understanding of maintainable architecture and delivery tradeoffs.
- Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams and manage software engineers directly.
- Own sprint planning, execution, delivery quality, and risk management.
- Partner with Product and Design to translate roadmap priorities into executable plans.
- Establish and continuously improve Scrum/Agile processes.
- Provide technical leadership on modern web stacks and cloud infrastructure.
- Drive AI adoption across the SDLC and evaluate/roll out AI tooling.
- Coach and mentor engineers, support performance management, and oversee hiring.
- Communicate status, tradeoffs, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company goals.
