Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a TPM, Technical Product Manager, or Engineering Lead in Retail, E-commerce, or Consumer Tech.
- Solid technical understanding of Loyalty/Rewards ecosystems (points ledgers, member tiers, dynamic perks).
- Solid technical understanding of Promotions/Cart Engines (Buy Qty, bulk pricing, rules-based discounts).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka).
- Mastery of Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
- Proficiency with tooling such as Jira, Confluence, and Roadmunk.
- Exceptional ability to communicate technical trade-offs to non-technical business partners.
- Ability to articulate business value to engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical planning, architecture alignment, execution, and launch for customer-facing loyalty and quantity-based pricing/promotion capabilities.
- Manage technical features for volume discounts, tiered quantity rules, and cart-level promotional bundling.
- Drive integration and performance of loyalty systems, including points ledgers, rewards, and tier transitions.
- Map dependencies across Customer Accounts, Checkout/Cart Services, Pricing & Promotion Engines, CRM, and POS systems.
- Partner with engineers to ensure system scalability for high-concurrency peak events.
- Oversee technical deliverables for microservices and APIs powering customer interfaces.
- Translate business requirements into technical epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Identify technical bottlenecks and manage risks across engineering squads.
