Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Computer Sciences, Statistics, Clinical Informatics, or similar; MBA/MS preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering (healthcare sector preferred) or 5+ years with an MBA/MS.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code, data warehousing, Apache Airflow, and Kafka.
- Experience with Databricks and DSS Data Science Studio (Dataiku).
- Understanding of taxonomy structures, hierarchy, and clickstream data.
- Expertise in Tag Management Solutions (Tealium, GTM, Adobe Launch, Dynamic Tag Manager, Ensighten).
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript and jQuery; knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Knowledge of digital analytics platforms including Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
- 1+ years of experience in a client-facing role for solutioning or evangelizing technology.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and mentor colleagues.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical medicine, clinical trial design, GCP, and regulatory rules.
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data architecture and pipelines for medical data sources.
- Partner with product managers and data leads to design technical architectures for analytical models.
- Gather, prepare, and maintain datasets required to perform analytics.
- Oversee data systems and ensure accurate collection, storage, and processing.
- Enhance infrastructure for scalability and automate manual data retrieval processes.
- Solve complex data problems and create data products to improve team productivity.
- Mentor and coach colleagues on data standards and practices.
- Lead the evaluation and deployment of emerging tools and analytic data engineering processes.
