Requirements
- At least seven years of experience building production backend systems.
- 6+ years of professional experience with Python.
- 3+ years of professional experience with FastAPI.
- 2+ years of professional experience with Redis.
- Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and SQL.
- Experience building or working with LLM-powered systems (RAG, tool-calling, agents).
- Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot).
- Knowledge of streaming technologies such as SSE, WebSocket, or SignalR (preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft Graph or email integrations (preferred).
- Familiarity with LangChain or LlamaIndex (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design and build the APIs and services supporting core products.
- Manage AI plumbing including retrieval, orchestration, tool-calling, response streaming, and output evaluation.
- Maintain reliable async and distributed operations, including document ingestion, embeddings, and Redis background jobs.
- Build and scale integrations with client systems such as email and document stores.
- Implement data security and isolation protocols for handling confidential client materials.
