Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a comparable analytical role.
- 2+ years of experience operating at a senior analyst level.
- Expert-level SQL proficiency.
- Strong Python skills for statistical work.
- Advanced experience with Looker or a comparable BI tool (LookML, dashboard design, semantic layers).
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud data warehouses like BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
- Working knowledge of experimentation design and causal inference.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven ability to support multiple business functions from a central analytics team.
- Excellent communication skills for influencing senior stakeholders and mentoring analysts.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end analyses on high-stakes, ambiguous business questions from framing to recommendation.
- Design robust dashboards and reporting frameworks that empower stakeholders to access data independently.
- Set the organizational bar for analytical rigor, methodology, and documentation through example and peer review.
- Apply statistical methods, experimentation design, and causal inference to sharpen business conclusions.
- Partner with leadership to identify data-driven opportunities for efficiency, growth, and improved outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with analytics engineers to shape data modeling and maintain canonical definitions.
- Mentor team members on technique and business judgment without holding formal management authority.
- Translate complex findings into clear, concise language for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
