Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in nuclear projects, energy infrastructure, or large-scale industrial siting and permitting.
- Proven project management experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with NRC siting criteria (10 CFR Part 100), NEPA, and state-level environmental permitting.
- In-depth understanding of nuclear safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to travel 0-10%.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integrated siting program for Natrium projects, ensuring coordination across relevant departments and alignment of schedule, budget, and deliverables.
- Oversee scope and schedule development for project site characterization, including geology, hydrology, and seismology.
- Coordinate input from internal subject matter experts and external consultants such as environmental, geotechnical, and land acquisition specialists.
- Support the Regulatory Affairs and Licensing Department in preparing documentation for NRC early site permits and other federal/state approvals.
- Collaborate with government entities, utilities, and community stakeholders to facilitate transparent communication and long-term partnerships.
- Develop and maintain risk registers, decision matrices, and tracking tools to support executive-level site selection.
- Prepare regular program reports, briefings, and presentations for leadership and regulatory bodies.
