Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Microbiology, Supply Chain, or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years of QA/QC operations experience in a highly regulated production environment.
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience managing processes and teams.
- Demonstrated command of GMP, HACCP, SPC, sanitation, and allergen-management programs.
- Proven experience with root-cause analysis and CAPA methodology.
- Ability to interpret COAs and contaminant data for process improvement.
- Experience interacting with regulators and inspectors.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- Experience with eQMS (Veeva Vault/QualityOne) and seed-to-sale systems (METRC) is highly preferred.
- SQF, ISO, GMP, or PCQI certifications are preferred.
- LEAN/Six Sigma experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own QA/QC policies, SOPs, and quality management systems across the multi-state network.
- Develop and improve quality programs including GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and allergen management.
- Administer the electronic quality management system (Veeva Vault/QualityOne).
- Establish product specifications and finished-goods release criteria across diverse product lines.
- Manage nonconformance (NCR) and out-of-specification (OOS) processes, including root-cause analysis and CAPA.
- Lead a geographically dispersed team of site Quality Managers.
- Serve as the quality point of contact for regulators and auditors.
- Partner with cross-functional leadership to embed quality into daily operations.
