- Experience
- 3+ years of experience treating pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in an outpatient setting.
Requirements
- Board Certified as a Physician Assistant.
- Active Physician Assistant license in Georgia.
- 3+ years of experience treating pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in an outpatient setting.
- Primary Care experience preferred.
- Commitment to providing evidence-based care.
- Ability to work full-time with shifts until 6 pm two evenings per week.
- Ability to attend mandatory meetings including supervision and team huddles.
- Effective communication skills for patient and team interaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume patient case-load.
- Provide comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of eating disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
- Implement medication treatment plans for eating disorders and co-occurring conditions in a virtual clinic setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of physicians, dietitians, therapists, and mentors.
- Utilize between-session messaging to support patients and communicate with the treatment team through Equip EMR.
- Engage in treatment team meetings, supervision, and department meetings.
