Requirements

- Active pharmacy technician registration with a State Board of Pharmacy.
- Prior experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Must be 18+ years of age.
- Proficiency in utilizing computer equipment and multiple pharmacy software programs.
- Thorough knowledge of drug information and pharmacy billing processes.
- Ability to work independently in an office or remote setting.
- Strong prioritization, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment.
- Process prescription information with speed and accuracy.
- Perform claim adjudication, billing, and prior authorization tasks.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical pharmacists and medical professionals.
- Maintain patient records with strict confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Conduct welcome and follow-up calls to patients regarding medication profiles.
- Work through case queues to resolve patient care issues.
