- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale.
- Proficiency in Python and Kotlin.
- Experience with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Experience shipping front-end applications.
- Experience defining technical plans for significant features with elegant, simple, and extensible designs.
- Proficient at making significant changes in large codebases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership and seek professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly team goals.
- Lead engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on ideation and technical planning.
- Proactively identify and lead solutions for project, process, or technology issues.
- Monitor metrics, escalate issues, and participate in on-call efforts to support system availability.
- Set and improve code review and design standards to foster a culture of quality.
- Provide feedback and mentorship to develop talent within the team.
