Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in product roles.
- 4+ years of experience in payments or fintech, ideally at scale.
- Senior IC experience owning complex problem spaces.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams through clear communication.
- Experience working on critical, high-trust systems.
- Ability to collaborate deeply with engineers and designers on technical constraints and tradeoffs.
- Strong analytical habits with experience using metrics, dashboards, and instrumentation.
- Clear written and verbal communication in a distributed, async environment.
- Familiarity with WooCommerce, WordPress, or open-source ecosystems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own product direction and execution for a key part of the payments product area with clear goals and outcomes.
- Improve merchant and shopper experiences across onboarding, checkout, refunds, disputes, payouts, and reporting.
- Raise the quality bar by reducing failures, friction, and support volume while improving merchant trust.
- Utilize data, support signals, and merchant feedback to define product priorities and success measures.
- Collaborate with payments partners like Stripe and PayPal to manage integrations, dependencies, and issues.
- Maintain stakeholder alignment through clear, direct communication regarding progress, risks, and decisions.
