Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong proficiency with open-source CAD software (e.g., FreeCAD, KiCad, or similar).
- Python development experience with the ability to write and execute scripts independently.
- Experience writing validation scripts (not just using pre-built tools).
- Comfortable working from the command line.
- Comfortable using Linux and/or Windows environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a computer.
Responsibilities
- Design physical objects suitable for 3D printing using open-source CAD software.
- Complete engineering design tasks while your workflow, including tool usage, clicks, and design decisions, is captured to help train AI models.
- Write and execute Python validation scripts to support design workflows.
- Perform engineering tasks across multiple complexity levels ranging from 4 to 40 hours.
