Requirements

- College degree, preferably in Technical Management, or equivalent leadership experience
- Proven success in coaching and mentoring experienced technical resources
- Exceptional ability to communicate with executive-level stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Experience with big data analysis, machine learning, and data engineering
- Ability to prioritize workload based on customer and business priorities
Responsibilities
- Manage a global team of Data Engineers and Scientists, providing mentorship, performance reviews, and career pathing
- Promote a culture of Technical Evangelism, coaching team members to synthesize complex technical architectures into high-level business strategies
- Foster cross-functional synergy with Sales and Account Management to identify strategic upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Own resource allocation for a diverse portfolio of projects to ensure talent is matched to high-impact initiatives
- Monitor team capacity vs. pipeline to support the department’s year-over-year growth target
- Audit existing project delivery processes to identify opportunities for automation and R&D-led innovation
- Define performance expectations, ensure accountability, and provide ongoing coaching and mentoring
