Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing AWS cloud environments and optimizing costs
- Understanding of AWS pricing models and billing
- Proficiency in AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, and AWS Cost and Usage Reports (CUR)
- Knowledge of Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Spot Instances, and storage lifecycle optimization
- Skills in Terraform or CloudFormation
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret large datasets
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Responsibilities
- Analyze AWS cloud spending and identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining operational excellence
- Develop and implement cloud cost optimization strategies across compute, storage, networking, databases, and managed services
- Build dashboards and reports to provide visibility into cloud consumption, trends, forecasting, and savings opportunities
- Establish cloud cost governance policies, tagging standards, and chargeback/showback models
- Optimize EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFront, and other AWS services
- Evaluate and recommend Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and Spot Instances
- Collaborate with engineering teams to incorporate cost optimization into solution architecture
- Monitor cloud budgets, cost anomalies, and utilization trends
