Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript test automation
- 3+ years of hands-on expertise with Playwright
- Understanding of API testing, mocking, and contract validation
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in maintaining traceability in test management tools
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies
- Skills in designing and automating API tests traced to Swagger endpoints
- Experience maintaining mocks/stubs using tools such as Supertest, Wiremock, Bruno, and Pact
- Familiarity with WireMock, Docker Compose/TestContainers (with Postgres and Kafka), and LocalStack
- Experience developing reusable test frameworks, libraries, and utilities
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with test managers and product owners to understand test plans and approaches.
- Analyze requirements and technical documentation to create comprehensive test scenarios and scripts.
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests covering functional and non-functional aspects.
- Implement API testing strategies to validate endpoints.
- Maintain component-level test suites with mocks and contracts.
- Plan and execute performance and load tests.
- Document and report defects with detailed logs.
- Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain test artifacts in Jira, Xray, and Confluence.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies.
