Requirements
- Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent academic, project, internship, or professional experience in a related technical field.
- Strong SQL programming skills, with the ability to write queries, analyze data, and troubleshoot results.
- Exposure to data analysis, data profiling, reporting, data mapping, or data validation.
- Interest in healthcare data and systems such as membership, claims, or provider data sets.
- Ability to work with large or complex data sets and apply analytical thinking.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to perform root cause analysis.
- Clear communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Partner with clients, implementation teams, and internal stakeholders to understand data distribution requirements.
- Perform data analysis, data profiling, and data mapping to support accurate client outputs.
- Build and maintain data distribution extracts, SQL queries, and scripts with guidance from senior team members.
- Support optimization of data extract scripts for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Validate outputs, investigate data issues, and contribute to root cause analysis when discrepancies arise.
- Document requirements, workflows, data mappings, and technical decisions to support repeatable delivery.
- Participate in client meetings, project discussions, and internal working sessions to learn requirements and communicate progress.
- Collaborate with teammates to solve data challenges and contribute to a high-performing, inclusive, and supportive team culture.
- Bring curiosity and ideas for process improvements, automation, and more efficient ways of working.
