Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud (AWS) infrastructure and DevOps.
- Expertise in Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Experience managing enterprise-level Kubernetes environments.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline management and release orchestration.
- Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code (Ansible, Terraform) and configuration management.
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Understanding of observability, blue-green, and canary deployment patterns.
- Experience with tools such as Istio, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, MSK, and New Relic.
- Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and stay current with emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and drive the adoption of development and operations patterns.
- Identify and implement automation for manual operational work.
- Monitor and improve CI/CD processes to enhance speed and reliability.
- Maintain GitLab CI pipeline libraries and support developers with project setups.
- Provide architectural recommendations for Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes hosting environments.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
- Educate development teams on platform tools like GitLab, Docker, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with security teams to remediate vulnerabilities in infrastructure.
