Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, quantitative systems, applied research, or forward-deployed technical work
- Record of leading ambiguous, customer-facing technical initiatives
- Deep strength in Python, SQL, system design, and analytical application architecture
- Applied AI experience focusing on evaluation, reliability, and production deployment
- Deep quantitative reasoning skills in modeling, inference, optimization, simulation, statistics, or decision systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance speed, rigor, and trust in high-stakes environments
Responsibilities
- Own forward-deployed engagements from discovery through production adoption
- Architect and build custom systems across AI, forecasting, optimization, simulation, and decision-support workflows
- Design application patterns that connect the platform to customer-specific logic and data
- Build evaluation, control, and validation frameworks to ensure AI reliability
- Work directly with senior stakeholders at private markets firms as a trusted technical advisor
- Turn real-world data into production systems, including extraction, agentic workflows, and automation
- Identify opportunities to transition bespoke work into reusable product or platform infrastructure
