Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 6–9 years of professional software development experience with significant exposure to enterprise eCommerce platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with Shopify Plus development, customization, and platform administration.
- Extensive experience developing and maintaining applications on Adobe Commerce (Magento Commerce).
- Deep expertise in Magento architecture, custom module development, themes, and extensions.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Experience implementing payment gateways, shipping integrations, tax solutions, and inventory systems.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
- Experience with Git, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale Shopify Plus and Adobe Commerce implementations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade eCommerce applications using Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce, and Magento.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance storefronts, backend services, and custom modules.
- Develop custom themes, plugins, extensions, and APIs to meet evolving business requirements.
- Integrate payment gateways, ERP, CRM, inventory management systems, shipping providers, and other third-party services.
- Optimize website performance, page speed, SEO, accessibility, and overall user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
- Review code, enforce engineering best practices, and mentor junior developers.
- Participate in architecture discussions and recommend scalable technology solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management.
