Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in translating medical data into patient benefit within the medtech, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries.
- Progressive leadership responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience in building data infrastructure for collection, management, and analysis.
- Working knowledge of US regulatory pathways (FDA IDE/PMA) for data-driven features.
- Experience with complex data streams from electrophysiological, cardiac, wearable, sleep, and behavioral sources.
- Ability to travel for onsite meetings in Houston, Texas (4-5 times/year) and scientific conferences.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity considerations for medical data types.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the data science and machine learning roadmap.
- Define data strategies for collecting impactful biomarkers related to mental health disorders.
- Architect infrastructures that manage data from local and cloud-based sources.
- Lead analytic pipelines fusing internal, external, and partnered data sets.
- Develop and validate biomarkers for candidacy, dosing, efficacy, and predictive therapy.
- Partner with R&D to embed data features into production and design platforms for agile research.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and verification/validation of data-driven features.
- Represent the Motif approach to data to investors, physicians, and industry forums.
