Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience with strong proficiency in Python.
- Expert knowledge of Python 3.11+ including typing, dataclasses, and modern practices.
- Production experience with modern frameworks like async FastAPI and Async SQLAlchemy 2.0.
- Strong expertise in API design including REST and GraphQL.
- Solid understanding of relational, document, search, and key-value database systems.
- Advanced knowledge of software engineering principles such as OOP, SOLID, YAGNI, and TDD.
- Extensive experience with unit testing (pytest), CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and deployments.
- Proven ability to build efficient, low-latency, scalable systems.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with tight deadlines and evolving requirements.
- Excellent written and spoken English (C1 level).
- Proactive, ownership-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical partner for clients by analyzing business needs and proposing scalable solutions.
- Take full ownership of complex features from architecture and implementation to automated deployment.
- Design system architecture, APIs, and data models for high-load, data-intensive systems.
- Deliver core and business-critical components for projects.
- Proactively identify technical debt and risks to drive system improvements.
- Ensure high code quality, performance, and reliability across projects.
- Mentor other developers and raise engineering standards across teams.
