Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing and implementing infrastructure or cloud solutions.
- Strong working knowledge of enterprise cloud platforms (Azure required; AWS preferred).
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, connectivity, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) including architecture, automation, and image management.
- Experience providing architectural oversight and governance for managed service providers.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD automation practices.
- Experience with cloud financial management, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
- Experience with secure-by-design principles and regulatory compliance controls.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve enterprise cloud platforms, including cloud networking, identity, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Develop and enforce enterprise cloud architecture roadmaps, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Architect and oversee enterprise cloud platform services such as landing zones, subscription structures, and hybrid connectivity.
- Partner with engineering and application teams to define and review cloud solution architectures.
- Establish operational excellence practices including monitoring, cost optimization, and platform lifecycle management.
- Define disaster recovery and resiliency strategies including multi-region and high-availability patterns.
- Implement secure-by-design patterns including network segmentation, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Train and mentor engineers and architects on cloud architecture standards and IaC practices.
