Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Energy Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3+ years of experience in energy markets, energy procurement, pricing, sales operations, or analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with energy suppliers, utilities, or brokers (preferred).
- Understanding of deregulated energy markets and procurement processes (preferred).
- Experience reviewing contracts, pricing models, or supplier proposals (preferred).
- Familiarity with CRM, pricing, or contract management systems (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end electricity and natural gas procurement process from data collection through contract execution.
- Develop, issue, and manage supplier pricing requests (RFQs) ensuring client commitments and deadlines are met.
- Analyze and compare supplier pricing proposals to identify competitive options.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to deliver accurate pricing and market intelligence.
- Prepare summaries of supplier proposals and pricing results for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Support customer renewals by identifying contract expirations and preparing updated pricing.
- Maintain accurate customer portfolio data and validate information from clients, suppliers, and utilities.
- Complete post-contract activities including contract confirmation and CRM updates.
- Monitor procurement metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
