Requirements
- Experience owning a product area in an insurtech, B2B SaaS, or regulated industry.
- Proven track record of driving feature adoption and measuring business outcomes post-launch.
- Experience with AI-centric product workflows including human-in-the-loop design.
- Technical fluency to engage with Engineering Leads on system boundaries, data flows, and trade-offs.
- Comfort using AI tools to enhance personal workflows.
- Ability to effectively translate requirements between business stakeholders and engineers.
- Domain curiosity regarding the insurance and Managing General Agent (MGA) model.
- Strong influence-without-authority skills and high Emotional Quotient (EQ).
- Experience working within distributed, remote team environments.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for a Pod by discovering problems through direct feedback from brokers, carriers, and internal partners.
- Turn business intent into initiatives, defend sequencing, and secure necessary resources.
- Define AI-driven workflows including human-in-the-loop triggers and fallback/escalation protocols.
- Write high-level product requirements for projects to facilitate planning, sizing, and staffing.
- Partner with Engineering Leads to define technical requirements and system-level trade-offs.
- Drive product adoption through documentation, training, and regular monitoring of usage metrics.
- Evaluate prototypes and ideas to determine business case and technical feasibility.
