Requirements
- 3 years of experience in a related field with a HS Diploma/GED.
- Alternative: Degree/certification in a related discipline with up to 1 year of experience.
- Alternative: 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Solid understanding of search engine algorithms.
- Strong proficiency in SEO/GEO tactics.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and Microsoft Office.
- Strong customer service and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-directed and driven professional approach.
- Automotive industry experience is preferred.
- Certifications such as Google Analytics, Adwords, or Hubspot are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze website performance data, including traffic and rankings, to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement white hat search and generative engine optimization tactics to improve client site performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Marketing Managers, Copywriters, and Performance Managers to support client digital strategies.
- Create client-facing reports synthesizing performance metrics, content strategy, and completed work.
- Provide support on monthly marketing calls to troubleshoot trends, deliver technical expertise, and ensure program value.
- Improve Local SEO presence through tactics like Google Posts and Google Business Page optimization.
- Mentor and train newer SEO team members.
- Stay current on algorithm changes and AI search developments to proactively update strategies.
