Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience with estimating, scheduling, budgeting, or project support within telecom, fiber, or construction environments.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as SAP, Jira, or MS Project.
- Experience with construction project estimating.
- Working knowledge of cost forecasting, project tracking, and performance management practices.
- Understanding of contracts, change management processes, and project financials.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cost estimates for fiber deployment and network infrastructure projects.
- Build preliminary project schedules and upload them into tracking systems.
- Facilitate the formal handoff of approved projects to execution teams.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and expenditures to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project management, engineering, and contractors to develop bid packages and support vendor selection.
- Track costs for labor, materials, and equipment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist with scope reviews, change management, and financial reporting.
- Prepare reports and dashboards detailing project status, costs, and schedule performance.
- Conduct post-project retrospectives to evaluate performance and capture lessons learned.
