Requirements
- Native-level proficiency in the target language(s).
- Graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies OR a graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience.
- Alternatively, 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.
- Ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely.
- Reliable availability, with a requirement of a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week.
- Capacity to work independently as a contractor.
Responsibilities
- Translate content between English and Swedish while preserving cultural nuance and clarity.
- Edit and refine language content for accuracy, tone, and contextual relevance across digital platforms.
- Apply current language standards, usage trends, and best practices to all deliverables.
- Evaluate and provide structured feedback to improve language model quality.
- Collaborate with Production and cross-functional teams to localize content.
- Support content development, localization, and quality assurance for digital tools and applications.
- Adapt text creatively through transcreation to ensure it reads naturally in the target language.
