Requirements

  • Active or pending Nurse Practitioner license in New York.
  • Active or pending Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) certification in New York.
  • Active or pending ANCC Board Certification in Psychiatry.
  • Experience or openness to treating individuals with substance use disorders and providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
  • Adept at learning and using new technologies in practice.
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
  • New grads of PMHNP programs welcome to apply (with previous experience in RN psychiatry preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver psychiatric care, addiction care, and medication management through telehealth.
  • Collaborate with prescribing clinicians, nurses, and care coordinators.
  • Assess and adapt treatment strategies for high-risk members in case conferences.
  • Educate members on preventative practices and lifestyle habits.
  • Stay informed about evidence-based psychiatric practices and share learnings.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
