Requirements:
  • +1 year of experience in web3, blockchain, and cryptocurrency — with solid understanding of staking, and DeFi.
  • +6 years of experience as a Software Engineer (Backend, Frontend, or Fullstack), designing, building, and deploying user-facing and API-based products.
  • +2 years leading and/or managing a full-stack team (at least 3 developers)
  • Proven TypeScript and Vue or React programming skills — professional experience in a production environment.
  • PHP/Laravel programming skills.
  • Familiar with software development best practices (Test, CI/CD, DevOps, Security…)
  • Previous experience collaborating in a team-based development environment is required (sprints, code reviews, standups, problem-solving sessions).
  • Curiosity and ability to dig into a topic and follow through.
  • Ability to balance between impact and thoroughness in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Fullstack squad, and collaborate with Product Managers and Product Designer.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy.
  • Be an active contributor within the Fullstack squad owning Kiln user-facing products (Dashboard, dApp, Widget).
  • Design, develop and implement new features : 70% frontend (e.g. using our design system to build new features or adding new components to it…), 30% backend (e.g. implement the transaction crafting part for a new protocol…)
  • Participate in code review, test and CI/CD processes, bug fixing, and code maintenance.
  • Interact with customers for debugging purposes and product discovery.
  • Make sure we respect any software security norms (Kiln is a SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 company).
  • Actively suggest continuous improvement of Kiln's platform and engineering practices.
  • Communicate with other Kiln teams to help them understand the Software roadmap and technical challenges.
