Senior UI/UX Designer-Contractor

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design for enterprise Saas applications required
• 8+ years of experience with Figma with a focus on enterprise application development
• Knowledge of Kendo Grid capabilities, limitations, or comparable technology and commitment to learning.
• Business intelligence visualization for financial applications is strongly preferred
• Understanding of modern UI/UX design trends, User Experience Design principles, and end user expectations
• Strong understanding of front-end development technologies is strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform consultative discovery interviews of key stakeholders including Senior leaders, product, and front-end developers
• Audit backlog of UI/UX design requirements and prioritize those based on stakeholders interviews
• Define an approach for incorporating modern enterprise SaaS application design standards with menus, workflows, and various screens throughout the platform aligned to corporate band standards
• Design with the outcome in mind of creating an intuitive, user-friendly interface capable of delivering a seamless user experience
• Define menu taxonomy for the platform with product owners and provide various design approaches for review and acceptance
• Ensure ADA compliance and responsive design compatibility across a variety of devices and browsers
• Collaborate with the product development team to ensure alignment with back-end systems
• Create designs in Figma for front end developers with the goal of scalability, efficiency, reuse, and standardization to accelerate the UI/UX design and development process
• Troubleshoot UI/UX problems and implement solutions
